How To Fix a Twist-Out (My Twist-'Ouch')

Hey Queens!
Have you ever had a bad hair day like this one? Check out how I recovered from my Twist 'Ouch' using a modified L.O.C Method.
What Is the L.O.C. Method?
-The L.O.C. Method uses a layer of products to assist the hair in moisture retention.
L.O.C. Method Steps:
L: Liquid (or leave-in)
This can be something as simple as water, but some naturals like to use a leave-in conditioner for this step. I usually use water, but after a wash and deep condition I'll use a leave-in. My all time favorite is Knot Today by Kinky Curly. Any moisturizer will do, just be sure the first ingredient is water(aqua) and that mineral oil or petrolatum are NOT listed in the ingredients. These substances will block moisture from entering your hair shaft.
O: Oil
Use any oil of your choosing. My favorites are Olive and Coconut oil. This step is done to seal in the moisture we added in step 1.
*In this video I substituted the oil with my homemade Flaxseed gel because I had already applied oil to my hair the day before. Typically I'll use an oil, but since I was only re-twisting my hair I only used the flaxseed gel.
C: Cream
The final step is to apply a cream. In this video I used unrefined shea butter, but I have had the same results with mango butter. This step just helps seal in the moisture.
