Wash Natural Hair | No Shampoo Method

Hey Queens!
I've got a secret... I don't use shampoo 😨. It sounds terrible, doesn't it? Now I've just become the crazy natural that doesn't wash her hair... WRONG!
I instead use a cleansing clay that unlike shampoos, leave my hair moisturized with it's natural oils intact after a cleanse. I have been using Teressentials Organic Hair Wash (Lavender) for about a year and absolutely love it. However, I decided to give bentonite clay and it's many other uses another shot.
Cleansing clays work sort of like a facial. They pull the dirt and any other impurities from your hair shaft, leaving its' moisture and essential oils intact. Shampoo on the other hand removes everything. Although this may sound like a good idea, your poor hair strands are left stripped and dried. This is why conditioning is so vital after a shampoo. Although I still use conditioner, its' usage is not always a necessity since my hair is no longer being stripped.
I've rekindled my romance with Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay and things are better than ever! We're going to make the no shampoo method work this time guys. When I was first going natural I never thought I'd say such things. Oh how the tables have turned...
Disclaimer: You do NOT have to use the cleansing clay. You can use whichever Shampoo you'd like, just be sure to shampoo first followed by a deep condition.
